We endeavour to present our informaiton in an organized, easy to use format. We have purposely avoided frames and graphic-laden pages in order to decrease download time, and we use a larger font so that our senior visitors will find our pages easier to read. In order to continue to meet the needs of our visitors, we'd like to know what you think of our website!

From: Anisah David (anisahdavid@sociologist.com)

I'm trying to track down information of Harry R Goodermote, the father of Deane M Goodermote. Harry was from Wisconsin but we're more interested in bits about him personally. He is my husband's biological grandfather, who was never given a chance to be in the life of his son or three grandsons. My husband is interested in learning more about his paternal side of the family if we can dig out details. Deane's mother remarried to someone by the surname Wenger, and changed her sons last names at that point. No documents now exist that tie Harry R Goodermote to his son Deane Wenger, from this end of things. So we're hoping that perhaps from the Goodermote side, there is info.

From: Jo Ann Burke (joann@soundmarketing.com)

This is a great site, but my problem is you have very little information on the early 1900 Italian settlers to this area. My mother's family both from maternal and paternal settled in Rensselaer in and around 1907 thru 1911 and remained in the Albany/Troy area for most of their lives. Their names were Marchese and Valenti or e depending on how you spell it. Would love to see more info on the Italians that became shop owners, butchers, business owners in this area of NY as they were important to the development of this area at that time. Thank you!
