Great site! Very absorbing and informative.
BTW, if you've ever played the good old DOS game Tornado, by Digital Integration, why not surf over to my website (TornadoMan;s Bunker). It's a tribute to the 1993 DOS Flight Simulator which, back then, was way way ahead of its time.

Cheers,
Frankie ''TornadoMan'' Kam
Maybe if more people (Tornadoholics) sign my guestbook, it'll get a Four Star rating. Har! Har!

In the meantime, have fun and remember:
Fly fast, fly low!

Really excellent and well contructed site. You are quite obviously an accomplished photographer as many of these shots required great discipline and a good understanding in composition and technique.

I have an original drop model of the Tornado used in it's design. You could say it's the First flying Tornado. It's hand crafted, very heavy and roughly 14foot long, the wings swing and it glides. It was originally full of instruments and then dropped from helicopters for adjustments before ending up at the wind tunnel at DSA Thurliegh. It would make a beautiful Gate Guardian

Hi really nice site you have and great pictures too. I am looking for some close up pictures of the Tornado landing gear and maybe how it works. Also does this aircraft have rivets on the airframe...don't seem to see any??.
Thanks and you look good with your family of girls!!:).

Thank you very much for creating this site, it is a wonder for the eye to see such a parade of information of the Panavia Tornado. I fly in 617 "dambuster" squadren and to see what the aircraft looks like outside the cockpit is amazing!
