I could not believe that one of these bundles of joy was going to become the latest addition to our family. It was love at first sight. Our new puppy 'Chester' made us wait three weeks until he was big enough to bring home. Last Saturday was 'D' day we were up at the crack of dawn leaving home for Cambridge. Our little ''Chester'' was waiting and still tiny. We shed tears saying our goodbyes to the other puppies, Flossie and of course Janet. Off we went armed with great advise from Janet and our 'puppy pack'. Our 'Chester' loves the car. Well, since we have arrived home this little bundle of fun had had us literally crying with laughter. All upright flowers are now flat, anything with a tag on is the enemy, all flowers with petals are being systematically stripped and he can not understand why the cats won't play. Everyone who has met Chester ( and they are queueing up) is smitten. He is so friendly and very pleased to see everyone - even the vet! Chattering away to you in greeting in the morning and always giving lots of kisses and waggy tails. When he's sleepy he loves to be close and cuddle. His dreams must be very vidid as he waves his legs growling and twitching. Already we can not imagine life without him. He is going to be a very popular boy in our village and we can not wait to introduce him. Thank you Janet for our beautiful 'Chester'' - he's the best!!! From: Becky & Alan Tuohy (rebeccatorma@hotmail.co.uk) July 2 2010 Janet, Well it's now been 2 weeks since we brought home Tilly & Lottie, our 2 Tibetan Terrier puppies (b:22/4/10). Our two children only knew that we were having one and the look on their faces when we produced two puppies was a memory to keep. From the first day they settled in with some trepidation into their new surroundings. Since then they have certainly got their feet under the table and have made friends with our very old cat Billie, much to her annoyance!! Tilly, who was the smallest puppy at birth is by no means a push over and is always ''stalking'' her sister when it's playtime. Lottie who is slightly bigger than Tilly lets her do this and then waits behind a bush for her to walk past. They have had us laughing on many occassions. They are now 10 weeks old and have learnt the ''sit'' command. They also sit and wait until I have put their food down and then they are given the ''go on then'' to eat. Amazing!! We are working on the ''down'' command this week but have to wait til one is alseep to work on the other!! From the first night, we never heard a peep out of them (I think it also helps that they have each other for company) and I think they are still finding their voices, which I am sure they will do very soon! Janet (and Zara), you have reared exceptional puppies, that are the easiest to look after and are very content in their surroundings. They are a credit to you. We are now on countdown til we can get them outside on the lead for walks, although I think that this will take it's time with more new sights and sounds. I am sure that other dog owners will be laughing at me when one wants to go one way and the other, another way! Oh well. Thank you so much Janet for all you support before we collected them and for answering my many questions and for the EXCELLENT puppy pack that we received with EVERY bit of information listed that we have needed so far. It was just a bit of fun for Charity, but Yogi had great fun with the other dogs. He is just such a sweet natured dog, who loves all dogs, other animals (although we think he wanted to eat the guinea pigs on show there...) and all people. No need to say he is much loved! From: Sam Green (g.iodice@ntlworld.com) June 9 2010 I am the proud owner of 'Basil' who arrived with us in April, he is certainly a character, came to us fully socialised and in love with the vacuum cleaner, I had thought puppies were afraid of them!!! I cannot express how wonderful Janet is as a person, a responsible breeder, always able to answer my silly questions and both myself and husband would always send a potential owner of this wonderful breed to Janet. We recently met Yogi who was hand reared by Janet and again the owners are chuffed to bits with him and also the care in which Janet took in hand rearing the litter which left Janet with not much sleep!!! Very friendly, loves meeting other dogs, especially one that want to play like he does. We are thinking of getting him a little friend soon. He is so cute and lovely and an absolute joy in our live. He is one of the handreared litter and very cuddly. He is already telling us every time he needs to do his little businesses and we think he's very clever indeed. Thanks so much Janet for bringing him up so well! Four weeks on and everyone just HAS to be his friend - although the cats aren't so keen! He loves children, at puppy classes he's actually more interested in the children than the other puppies!? We are pleased to say he is really settling in well with our family.He may be small, but has a big personality Baxter has a lovely temperament and is playful and affectionate. as we are first time dog owners, we were quite apprehensive about his arrival, but Janet has been so helpful throughout the process, from the initial phone call, the visit to choose him, the emails with photos keeping us up to date with Baxters progress and then when we collected him with the good advice that she gave.Janet obviously cares about the puppies a great deal and we would not hesitate to recommend her to others. Now 7 months she has grown into a beautiful dog. Golden sable is a very good description of her colour and we have just had her clipped for the first time, she looks fantastic and becomes more adorable each day. We are still attending training classes each week and she is doing very well. Our neighbours have a border terrier called Fenn and they are great mates, going walking each day in the woods, chasing and rolling around with each other having the best time! He has been to two puppy party's and has got on very well with other puppy's, he loves going out in the car. He is now almost six months old, and a wonderful addition to our home. He is ''feisty,'' yet good natured. He is wonderful with children, and is training nicely (once I was trained first!). From: Jeanette Everett May 10 2009 Hi Janet, Having made the decision to own have a second Tibetan Terrier, we coudnt be more thrilled with Ruby as a playmate for Bonnie. Ruby has very quickly made herself at home and is making friends with Bonnie. Ruby spends a lot of time hanging off Bonnies very tempting tail!They have lots of lovely chases together already.bonnie has to tell her off sometimes but Ruby is very accepting of that! We got Woody a Tibetan Terrier from Janet 2 years ago and he has grown into the most loving and ''handsome'' member of the family.
