Hi Ross

Many thanks for your support through the radio

The gig at the Cancer Council Relay for Life at Blacktown was a success (as usual) and of course, as usual, we followed the Blacktown Country Music Club. Steve was our sound man again and a good time was had by all

Best wishes

Hi
I'm a self taught guitarist who likes to write songs. Although I haven't written many.
I guess the reason I haven't written many is because I usually just preform them to myself, except for the odd times around the campfire.Where people have seemed to enjoy what I Play.
Through the years my inspirations have come from artists like Don Mclean, John Denver, James Taylor, Cat Stevens & John Williamson.
The last song I wrote is called ''A Memory On My Mind''.
I would love to come to one of your nights and see what others do. Looking at your photos, seems to me to be what I have been looking for, for Years.
I live in Emu Plains and if its okay with you I would like to attend your next gathering.

Thanks a heap to the intrepid travellers who came to Doonside on 29th October for the Blacktown Relay for Life freebie. It looks like the event will raise over $130,000 this year for the NSW Cancer Council which exceeds all expectations. Thanks for helping to make it such a success.

I have a hunch that the lack of gigs could be due to your choice of material ... maybe adding Delilah to your song list would help
BTW I can do the whistly bit at the end of billy don't be a hero if you're really desparate
