TCO's Alumni Message Board

This is your TCO's Alumni Message Board. It will only hold 50 messages. It can be used for Hello's, comments, suggestions, announcements, news ( such as sports scores ), messages, providing your email addresses ( optional, but then we can't contact you ), and your homepage URL addresses. The message board has many other uses. Read it often. Use it when you have something to say. It's your way of making use of TCO's concept of a A Web Site for All Classes. Submission of photos for the above image MUST have a pixel ratio of 2:1 (that is, 300x150, 400x200) to prevent distortion of the image. - T.C. Torry

Hello All,

I wish to thank John Stoner and TCAA for hosting the photo on this TCO message board, as it is still interfaced with the the TCAA domain name.
Remember, the TCO site is the site hosting the old classpages and fully supports the efforts of TCAA.
John says this message board is hard to find on the TCO site. I will make an effort to correct its placement. - Ron

Congratulations to TCAA for more web pages and linkages to provide the Alumni with something to encourage return to their Web Site. A web site not viewed is a bulletin board passed, and not read.
It is very hopeful the TCAA will finally find more for the `Alumni` within the TCAA. Jack Noller's 2002 message of ''Keeping the Spirit Alive'' can now be broadened to those who graduate each spring.
Next! Can the TC graduates generate a `class continunity` with TCAA's support, and can TCAA expect support without a supported `Alumni` ?
! Go Tornados !

The Official TCAA web site returned to the web today with a developmental site, and a request for a new Webmaster for that site. It is hoped eventually the TCAA will support the Alumni with support of their Class Pages.
Until that support occurs for the Alumni Class Pages, the alternate site will attempt of accomplish that effort on behalf of the Alumni.

The TCAA is actively seeking a new webmaster willing to serve on a volunteer basis. That webmaster can start with a new slate. There are very little restrictions as to content.
If qualified and interested, send us an e-mail: TCAA

Use ''Tiffin Columbian'' as the key words.

It does appear to be true.....
Oh, the childhood story we all have heard... about how something upset Johnny, and because he owned the bat and the ball, ruined the game for everyone when he took them home...
There are rules ... they are defined so we can all play the game.
You now understand why the Captain is the master of his ship, as is my son, who is the Captain the moment his UPS plane leaves the runway.....
Maybe Mommy can fix it...

Hello All,
It is now 4:00p.m. Sunday July 5th, and it is apparent the TCAA Web internet site access have been removed.
They have the total of their investment ... Internet Domain ownership and Hosting ISP made available to them. The contacts on this page are active, but will likely not be fruitful. - Ron

To all TCAA classmates and graduates:
I will make an attempt to place online those classes which have an `active` Online Class Representive.

For those classes not provided a linkage on the current Mainmenu Page, I will hopefully hear from a OCR or any classmate that will take on that responsibility.

Basically, the OCR acts behalf of the Class as the interface between the Class, in general, and the Webmaster. - Ron Reed, Webmaster (TC '53)

To the many TC classmates from our 70 classs who have participated in the TCAA Web site, I apologize for the site being offine. Due to circumstances I asked the Association to evaluate the significance of the Site.
Hopefully it will return soon. Meanwhile, contact with the TCAA Database Manager is active via E-mail; this Message Board is active; and my e-mail and an active web site (both documented above) can provide contacts. For those classes that may wish to re-establish their page, e-mail me. If you every need contact with TCAA you can `google` (acceptable as a verb today) with `Tiffin Columbian` as the search wording.
Again, thanks for your support and involvement for the last six years. It was greatly appreciated. --- Ron,TC'53 (... NOT)

Pick the one(s) that you need to reference QUICKLY, and SAVE them on your desktop (instructions are provided). Enjoy. Ron

Hello All ....Is there anyone with HTML skills that would like to develop another from scratch Web Site for the TCAA. If this does not occur, then time will just run out for this site. TCAA would hope for a longterm committment to this effort. The ideal situation would be a group of TC graduates in the Tiffin area to maintain the Web Site much as there is a group that does the TC Connection Newsletter. The alternate site is already prepared for a New Menu (i.e., the entry into a new webmastered site). I will contribute what ever support if asked. -- Ron

The Message Board's `Go Back` above returns you to the off-line TCAA domain site which is due to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) where the site was hosted has gone out of business. The Webmaster is maintaining a temporary web site until the TCAA defines its web site hosting.

The ''dancin''' almost stopped and they still can't find out what is going on, but the ''dancin''' has slowed, but they got their heads working on what's happening. Later, ''Gator''.

Hi all,
There is a no frills, but plenty of fun reunion. The date is Sat. Aug. 4, 6:30-9PM, Fort Ball Pizza Palace with pub crawl to follow. We will pass the hat that night to cover expenses. Hope you can make it. Tell anyone else you know who graduated with us. I placed several ads in the Tiffin paper leading up to the reunion, too.

Hope you all can make it. Cheers.

Today is birthday. As present to myself, I have notified the TCAA Board of Directors, that on January 20, 2009, Noon EDT .... this TCAA site will change as you have always known it. That is over 620 days... I suggest your correspondence regarding an entirely `New Menu` site be with the BOD. When I get more information regarding what the BOD wishes for communication with them, then I will post their request. - Ron

Hello All,
If you find that your enrollments are not bing updated for a while it is because as of today there are only two more non-fishing days in March. Now I haven't warned the large mouth bass in Lake Cane in downtown Orlando so maybe I will have some battles ahead of me. We keep throwing them back so we know where there are. Some are now almost more than I can handle in a good fight.

What is this fight on terrorism? A war longer than WWII. Sons, fathers, sisters and brothers killed fighting for Arab peoples `freedoms`.
Meanwhile, we have freedoms lost that the writers of the Constitution were wise enough to compose to prevent administrations like today and their desire for votes and a theocracy.
We have a `commander-in-chief` that could not make his Guard meetings. Has any country who has started a war in the last century every won one.
Today, 20 bombs and guns out of 22 in carry-on luggage at Newark (Oct 27, 2006) missed by screeners.
We have spent billions of $$$ for minimum wage people and very expensive machines.
Are we all stupid ........it is called capitalism. BTW, today it is called `the economy` and we are told how it is helping the people, you and me. Are you `feeling better`?
Think? Voting should not be a habit. And, political party affiliation is not inherited. (Re-submitted)

From: Recent New Release

July 21 2006
Texas - a public school teacher was arrested today at Bergstrom International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged with carrying weapons of math instruction.

Al-gebra is a problem for us, Rumsfeld said. They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like x and y and refer to themselves as unknowns, but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, There are three sides to every triangle.

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, If God had wanted us to have better Weapons of Math Instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes. White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the president.

If you know of persons (relatives and friends) that may know of the classmates wherabouts, then try to assest us in our searchs. Thanks -- Ron
