For most of us it was the first visit to the Orkneys, probably of many visits to follow. The day after the reception in the Girnel we sailed to Farsund in Norway, under good conditions. After having spent some days there, we returned to the Netherlands. In heavy weather, NW 7 - 8, later 5 - 6, most yachts made it home safely. Unluckily, one was dismasted, another yacht lost its rudder. Both had to return to Norway. Luckily, there were no personal injuries. Thanks again for making us feel welcome, for all the good care and hospitality!
